How does a win or defeat affect you?
Do you get in a bad mood when we lose? How long for?

How long does the good feeling of a win last?

About an hour and a half. I get euphoric or miserable.

Re: How does a win or defeat affect you?
A win sets me up for a week or so. I am buzzing.

A loss really fucks me off and I do get the hump but now only for about an hour or so after the game and then it drifts away. Too many years of it to now let it affect me into the week.

Used to make or break my weekend... long gone those feelings... now it's just a shrug of the shoulders and carry on whatever I was doing...

What about a draw?

Re: How does a win or defeat affect you?
I usually wake up in a good mood if we won the day before. I take more of an interest in the rest of the football world as well, so if we won a Saturday game I'm more likely to watch MOTD2 on the Sunday.

If we lose I tend to avoid all football until the next weekend.

You lying toad.

How many times have you thrown a major fucking strop on here after we've lost? I dread to think what you're like in real life after a defeat. The incredible hulk?

Re: How does a win or defeat affect you?
Depends on the opposition and manner of said defeat.

Ie if it's a game like Brighton at home where we were dogshit against shit oppo it pisses me off, same if we get cheated by a cunt ref or it's against sp*rs

Usually I just expect it

For some reason getting knocked out of the cups annoys me more.

In the league there’s always next week I guess.

Re: How does a win or defeat affect you?
Ag! As said below, the best thing about a win is probably the following morning waking up. With a defeat, it may depend on the nature of the defeat and the importance of the game. Would have been pig sick had Chelsea nicked one at the death on Sunday.

A lot of our wins and defeats are probably tainted by the fact that the vast majority of the time that are neither that damaging or that rewarding in terms of relegation, missing out on Europe, or winning a trophy or a European spot, etc.

Re: How does a win or defeat affect you?
When I used to go on a regular basis, would depend on the opposition as to how much I enjoyed the wins.

As for the losses, have never given a shit when we've lost. Best time I've ever had at football win or lose was the play off defeat to Palace.

Had a fucking superb time in Cardiff while the majority were sloping off miserable.

It ruins the whole weekend and I don't smile until Wednesday.

I go tsk if we lose and good if we win. Then I go onto important things like playing with my kids. I am getting very good at Disney Princess Dobble, tonight my 3 year old is going dahn after 3 straight defeats from her I fancy my chances tonight. See the important things

Boleyn, you're a fucking disgrace.
3 straight defeats. Pull your socks up son.

I normally wake up in a bad mood when we lose when the realisation hits me, as most games are middle of the night.

A win has the opposite effect, not that it happens often.

Re: How does a win or defeat affect you?
only affects me when moyes or other managers throw cup games of set up the team to not win a game. if they've tried, that's all that matters

8420 - The important things are having your missus bouncing up and down on your cock, not playing silly games, you raving modern Dad homo. Sorry to lower the tone, carry on..

Re: How does a win or defeat affect you?
Not any more. It used to, and losing could put me in a foul mood.

Then I overdosed on defeats and half-arsed performances during the Avram Grant era, and after that I struggled to give such a shit.

I don't like to see us lose, but these days it'll depend on the effort the team puts in. If they cannot be arsed, then I cannot be bothered to get annoyed by them.

Don't give a fuck anymore. I can now watch us win 3-0 or lose 3-0 without a shred of emotion. Bled dry by the leeches in charge and Allardyce Mk 2 as manager.

If you don't give a fuck, why bother watching at all?
